Thanks to a grant from the 3R Foundation
The Rainbow centre was recently awarded £1000 by the 3R Foundation for some new exterior signage.
Our premises are in an extensive old building, which was previously a Methodist Church, and are tucked away just off the promenade in the Poulton area of Morecambe, down a quiet little side street. It is a lovely spot — but we knew it could be a bit tricky to find, especially for new visitors! We had some old signage but it wasn't very visible from the road.
We approached the 3R Foundation for a grant so we could add some clear, colourful and welcoming signs to the front of the building — something that would catch the eye from the promenade and make it much easier for people to spot us.
The grant enabled us to cover the full cost of designing, producing, and fitting the new frontage signage, plus a new sign next to the main entrance and another on the side of the building. It was a small change that has made a big difference!
